March News
Bowlers Robyn Kenny and Deon Cantwell were the lucky winners of a trip for 2 to Corner Brook at a recent Ice Caps Game. (Courtesy of the St. John’s Ice Caps, Provincial Airlines and Glenmill Inn). They enjoyed their weekend from March 1 – 3rd.
There is an Easter Basket Draw on tickets. The basket is valued at $500.00 and tickets are only $1.00 each!! Draw date is Wednesday, March 27th. For tickets please contact Valerie Weeks.
There will be an Easter Dance at Knights of Columbus on St. Clare Ave for the St. John’s Club. The dance will take place on Friday, April 5th from 7 – 10pm. Admission is $3.00 and that includes a hot dog and a drink.
Region 1 will be having Playdowns on Sunday, May 5…. Details to follow

Special Olympics St. John’s Annual Dinner and Dance

Place: Knights of Columbus, St. Clare Ave.

Cost: Athletes and Coaches $5.00

REGISTRATION 2012/2013
Registration for St. John’s will be held on Thursday, September 20th at Plaza Bowl.
Athletes with last names beginning from A – M will register from 6:30 – 7:30 and N – Z from 7:30 – 8:30.
You will need your MCP # with expiry date; social worker’s name and phone number and a list of all medications. These forms will need to be completed upon registration so it’s very important that whoever will be coming can fill these out accurately.
Registration fees for this year are $50. Program fees for the 2012/2013 season will be available on Registration Night.
Coaches and Volunteers will also register on Thursday night between 6:30 – 8:30pm.

St. John’s Region 1 will be holding a re-arranged Easter Dance on Friday, may 4th, 2012 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm at the Knights of Columbus – 49 St. Clarie Avenue.
Cost: $3.00 per person (includes a hot dog and a drink)
There will also be a canteen set up.
